Renovation Update

Well who would have thought that this renovation could come to a close? 
With Stage Two completed late last year, work commenced on the third and final stage, spearheaded by a new upstairs bar tagged “The Loft”. It is currently open to the public and available for functions, but is due to be launched as a “members bar” in mid to late October. A smaller version of the downstairs bar with very attractive furnishings and lighting, The Loft caters for up to 90 people and offers fabulous views of the city from its wide heated veranda.  Think Philippe Stark, think New York lounge bar, and your on your somewhere on the mark.

A brand new Beer Garden sporting a massive Date Palm has been added on the Payneham Road side and is characterised by the warmth of its timber decking, water features and contemporary outdoor furniture.  Housing a hidden Digi-Glass bar for summer and a BBQ it’s defiantly the place to be on those warm summer weekends.

The acquisition of two properties behind the hotel has also paved the way for a much larger car park, as well as a detached Function Centre that caters for up to 110 people.

The entire venue has been designed with the upcoming indoor smoking ban in mind, with every bar connected to an outdoor area.

Renovation Update

Stage 3 is well underway and is starting to take shape. The Beer Garden, Upstairs Bar and new carpark is expected to be completed around March 07. Can't wait to christen the Beer Garden on a lazy sunday arvo.
